ESTO X DIGILOGIA
June workshop series
SATURDAY 6 JUNE 11am to 4pm
From drawing to 3D form
RSVP here
This workshop explores the transformation of hand-drawn images into simple 3D forms and projected visual surfaces.
Participants will work on translating drawings into digital objects, focusing on the relationship between image, shape, and surface.
Concept & Content
The workshop focuses on a specific part of a broader artistic process: the transition from drawing to digital form.
Participants will explore the following activities:
- Prepare and clean your drawing image digitally
- Use it as a base to construct a 3D object in Blender
- Reapply the image onto the object through projection techniques
The workshop emphasizes the following concepts:
- Translation between analog and digital
- Intuitive visual thinking
- Process over technical complexity
Note: Advanced stages of the workflow (procedural systems, animation, rendering, live visuals) will be introduced conceptually but not developed in practice.
Participants should also:
✔ Have basic familiarity with Blender and Photoshop
✔ Feel comfortable using a computer independently
✔ Arrive with the softwares already installed and tested
What to bring:
Your laptop (we have two extra to offer, please write us in case you don't have one)
One or more already digitalized drawings/sketches
(organic, botanical, abstract or experimental forms are welcome)
🗓️Date and Time:

SATURDAY 13 JUNE 11am to 4pm
Body as Interface: Touch, Movement and Responsive Environments
RSVP here
This workshop explores the body as a sensitive interface within a responsive audiovisual environment. Combining movement, touch, and live visuals, participants engage in a collective process where physical gestures and interactions generate and transform projected images in real time. Rather than focusing on technical production, the workshop emphasizes embodied experience, perception, and the relationship between bodies, images, and technology within the space.
Concept & Content
This workshop investigates how the body can function as both an input and a site of perception within a digital environment. Moving beyond purely visual interaction, it introduces touch and relational dynamics as central elements in shaping audiovisual responses.
Participants will:
- Explore movement and touch as generative inputs.
- Engage with responsive visual systems (projection, video, simple motion input).
- Experiment with how physical interaction influences digital imagery in real time.
- Work individually, in pairs, and as a group to create evolving visual environments
The process focuses on:
- The feedback loop between body, image, and space.
- Attention, presence, and sensory awareness.
- Negotiation of distance, contact, and interaction.
- Collective composition and shared authorship.
Rather than aiming for technical mastery, the workshop creates a framework for experiencing how bodies—through movement and touch—can shape and transform digital space, and how digital systems, in turn, affect perception and behavior
What to bring:
Your laptop (we have two extra to offer, please write us in case you don't have one)
This workshop is completely open to all skill levels, with no technical mastery required.
All necessary materials—including tissue, paint, paper, and interactive devices—will be provided by the artists.
